Barcelona — Light, Rhythm and Architecture

Barcelona is a city that reveals itself slowly. Through light on facades, textures of old walls, movement, shadows and pauses between streets. 

 This series was created as a personal street photography project — partly digital, partly black-and-white film. I walked without a strict plan, letting the city guide me. 

 In Barceloneta, the space opens up: yachts in the port, sea air, soft sunlight and calm rhythms. 

This area feels open, warm and natural — a beautiful place not only for street photography, but also for intimate wedding moments by the sea. 

 The Gothic Quarter tells a different story. Narrow streets, stone walls, deep shadows and sudden light breaks create a cinematic atmosphere. 

Walking here, you constantly discover small courtyards, arches and hidden corners. It’s one of the most atmospheric places in Barcelona for wedding photography — emotional, authentic and full of character. Barcelona cannot be imagined without Gaudí’s architecture. 

Casa Batlló, Casa Milà (La Pedrera) and surrounding streets feel organic and alive. 

These locations offer a unique backdrop for elegant, artistic wedding portraits that feel timeless and bold. I also photographed La Sagrada Familia, not as a postcard image, but as part of the city’s everyday rhythm — where light, people and architecture interact naturally.

 The series continues through Passeig de Gràcia, Avinguda Diagonal and Plaça de Catalunya, where classic architecture meets movement and modern city life. While walking through Barcelona, it’s easy to find countless beautiful spots — perfect for spontaneous couple sessions and meaningful wedding photographs. 

 This project is about observing. About how Barcelona feels — and how naturally the city becomes a stage for real stories.
